macOS 26.3 corrige deux problèmes de design de Tahoe

Recent Updates in macOS 26.3

Released as a Release Candidate just last night, macOS 26.3 introduces fixes to two design flaws previously identified in macOS Tahoe, as reported by MacGeneration. The first fix addresses the issue of window resizing by introducing a new active area that conforms to the more rounded window shapes of macOS 26. This update provides clear visual cues for users on where to click, which is a significant improvement over the previously ambiguous square of 19 pixels, most of which lay outside the window boundary. Previously, users often found themselves clicking outside the active area if they did not notice the cursor change.

Enhancements in Finder Column Resizing

The second design correction made in macOS 26.3 relates to resizing columns in Finder when scroll bars are set to always show (this setting can be found under System Settings > Appearance > Show Scroll Bars > Always). In versions up to macOS 26.2, the resize handles of columns could end up hidden beneath the horizontal scroll bar, rendering them inaccessible. With the update to macOS 26.3, these handles are now positioned above the scroll bar, thereby resolving this usability issue.

Despite these changes, macOS 26.3 does not introduce any major new features. Apple has stated that the update mainly focuses on bug fixes and security enhancements. The final version of macOS 26.3 is expected to be available to all users by next week.

Update February 14, 2026 at 17:18:

The final version of macOS 26.3 has reverted to the square active area, not addressing the Tahoe window bug issues as previously anticipated (read: macOS 26.3 Ultimately Does Not Resolve Tahoe Window Bugs).
