Apple Studio Display Experiences Flickering Issue with macOS Tahoe
Apple’s Studio Display has been reported to exhibit a flickering issue when paired with Macs running macOS Tahoe, according to multiple user complaints highlighted by MacRumors. This glitch first emerged with the initial release of macOS 26 in mid-September, and subsequent updates, macOS 26.1 and macOS 26.2, have failed to rectify the problem. Some users have even reported that the issue has worsened.

Based on user reports, the flickering does not occur constantly. It tends to happen when switching between applications that have a white background, scrolling through pages on a light background, or transitioning from dark content to light content, regardless of the application. The flickering is usually brief but can sometimes last for several seconds. Since this issue is confined to users of macOS Tahoe, it suggests that the problem is software-related, and it is hoped that a future update will resolve it.
