Oppo is launching a novel accessory for its upcoming Find X9 series. For the first time, the brand has introduced a teleconverter developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. The official photography features confirm the high-end orientation of this model.
Just a few days ago, we discussed Oppo’s project with Hasselblad: a unique photography kit designed for the upcoming Find X9 series. We mentioned an external telephoto lens and a magnetic grip that turns the smartphone into a real camera. Now, the brand has confirmed this strategy and taken it to the next level with an official unveiling.
This past weekend, Oppo showcased a presentation on Weibo where the Hasselblad teleconverter for the Find X9 Pro was revealed for the first time. According to the brand, this accessory, named Oppo Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Kit, enhances the smartphone’s 70 mm telephoto lens to an equivalent of 230 mm, thanks to a 3.28 magnification factor. This surpasses the magnification of Vivo’s Zeiss teleconverter, which is limited to 2.35x.

Oppo Introduces Hasselblad 3.28x Teleconverter and Details Find X9 Pro Sensors
The Hasselblad teleconverter introduced by Oppo will be available as a kit that includes the lens and two adapters. A dedicated magnetic case is also planned, though it has not yet been showcased. The dark design is reminiscent of competing solutions, yet this collaboration aims to deliver a unique color rendering. Long focal length enthusiasts will be able to capture more detailed shots, even from afar. This move mirrors a similar strategy by Vivo, who has made such accessories popular on its high-end models.
Two weeks ago, we also reported the initial information on the sensors of the Find X9 Pro. This new unboxing confirms these details: a main Sony LYT-828 sensor with a fourth-generation True Chroma lens, capable of capturing images in 50 or 200 megapixels by default. The smartphone will also offer 4K video at 120 frames per second with Dolby Vision and 10-bit Log. Lastly, Hasselblad color styles and an enhanced XPan mode round out the features, positioning this new smartphone as one of the most ambitious in the market for photography.
