Apple has been meticulously planning the launch of Apple Watch, with advertising in full swing, getting print ads in top magazines, integrating fitness blog page by top model Christy Turlington Burns and also giving third-party app developers access to the hardware much before the launch.
Unlike the iPhone that launched without the App Store, the Apple Watch just like the iPad will launch with many third-party apps available on launch day. Apple has been showcasing apps like Target, American Airlines, Instagram, Twitter, ESPN and many more.
YouVersion the developers of The Bible app for iOS earlier today announced the availability of The Bible app for the Apple Watch. The app will be available when the Apple Watch ships.
The Bible app for Apple Watch includes features from its iOS app specifically reimagined for the watch. The app will bring Verse of the Day, Friends Notifications, Trending Verses and Your Verse Images, Bookmarks, and Highlights.
The developers state that their mission with the app is to simply, “help you engage with the Bible.”
Because we’re convinced that when you spend time with the Bible, either reading or listening, and then carefully reflect on what it’s saying to you, God’s Spirit will do something inside of you. His words will change you, make you into a new person. Ultimately, His words will draw you closer to Him.
Seven years ago when the App Store for the iPhone was launched YouVersion’s Bible app was amongst the first 200 apps approved for the launch day. Just like the iPhone version, the Apple Watch version will also be available on launch day.

Apple is widely rumored to hold iPhone 5S media event on September 10th so its possible that 20th may in-fact be the release date for the new iPhone.
Apple’s carrier partners usually issue blackout dates in order to make sure that they have maximum workforce during the first week of the launch of a major product. iPhone launch day has traditionally witnessed long queues and such blackout dates have been reported in the past with other carriers as well.
This year Apple is expected to introduce two iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. While iPhone 5S will be the flagship product for 2013, iPhone 5C will be a more economical model geared towards pre-paid users and the Asian market.
iPhone 5S is widely reported to feature dual-led flash, A7 processor expected to be 31% faster, new fingerprint sensor and advanced camera software supported by new motion sensors. The overall design of the new iPhone will remain the same as the current gen phone.
On the other hand iPhone 5C will support a polycarbonate body with a 4inch retina display and will sell in multiple colors. The hardware is expected to run on A6 chip and the same 8 megapixel camera.
If previous years launch is any indication then September 20th launch of iPhone 5S in the United States could be followed by the second round of countries about two weeks later.

Apple has experienced heavy demand for its iPad 3 launch and has pushed back the shipping date to 2-3 weeks. The launch day for the third generation iPad has been set by Apple for March 16th, where customers will be allowed to line up in retail stores across the country.
Customers who have pre-ordered their new tablet are expected to receive their new iPads on that same day. With respect to shipping time, customers who order now would have to wait for two to three weeks to account for high demand and shipping delays.
Other stores around the world are also reporting delays in shipment, including the Canadian online store, and the Australian and Singapore stores with ship dates of 2-3 weeks. Apple’s European launches including France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK and Asian countries such as Japan are all shipping with an estimate of 2-3 weeks for new iPad orders.
Apple is planning to launch the iPad in 25 more countries by March 25th but may have to push back that date in order to accommodate the high demand and slip in shipping time for the new device.

Using a wide variety of weaponry including guns, bombs and nuclear explosions, players can wreak destruction on any and all figures that dare to cross their path.
Killing off all enemies is not an easy task, however. As the levels progress, players will find it increasingly difficult to ensure that the enemies meet their makers. Since Bloody Hell also tracks high scores and kill combos using OpenFeint and Cocos Live, players can share their latest revenge-seeking achievements with all their friends (and any enemies who are still alive).
In a gesture of appreciation, Softmines plans to give away $10 iTunes Gift Certificates to day one purchasers of Bloody Hell in a social media promotion running today. For players to qualify for their gift card, they must fulfill the following conditions:
Follow Softmines on Twitter and tweet the following message: “Follow & RT @softmines to receive a $10 iTunes Gift card by buying Bloody Hell for #iphone for $0.99. Full details http://bit.ly/aCc9I9.”
In addition, Softmines will give away one iPod touch to the player with the highest score in the game at 15 days after launch, and a second device to the most helpful review visible on the App Store. These contests will begin on August 10, 2010 and end on August 31, 2010.
Both the contest and promotional offer are for U.S. residents only. Full terms and conditions for each offer can be found here: http://bit.ly/aXDqmN
“We’re confident players will enjoy Bloody Hell for its pick up and play simplicity and mindless destruction,” said Vikas Gupta, CEO of Softmines. “We’ve given you the arsenal, it’s up to you to do the damage. This is not a game about surviving… it’s a game about making the survival of others impossible.”
Bloody Hell features:
– Seven main characters plus a few surprise guests
– Two types of guns and multiple explosions including grenades and nuclear bombs
– Three different environments to visit as players cause chaos and ravage adversaries
– Open Feint connectivity and Cocos Live integration to share high scores and kill combos
