Older Versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote No Longer Available on macOS App Store
Aaron Perris has noted that previous versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote can no longer be found on the macOS App Store. Following the debut of Apple Creator Studio on January 28, Apple released version 15 of its office suite, yet continued to offer the previous generation in its app store. However, since updating to version 14.5, these apps now show a warning upon opening, informing users that no further updates will be provided. This message allows users to continue using the current version but encourages them to upgrade to version 15.
Options for Long-Time Users
For those who have been using these applications for a long time, it is still possible to reinstall version 14.5 via the App Store’s download history. However, these versions no longer appear in search results, making it clearer for new users. It’s worth mentioning that the version 15 apps, which feature new icons styled after Apple Creator Studio, remain free to use. They do not require a subscription to Apple’s software suite and maintain all the functionalities present in version 14.5, without any compromise.
