A nice simple game, so I thought for perhaps the first 40 or so levels until the level demanded I clear the screen of bugs so if your short on patience quick on the frustration I recommend you don’t play this game for the sake of your device because it’ll go flying. The game starts with just plain bugs, then special must splat bug, then two then that and a flower which slows down the bugs then two flowers, oh and then you have a timer and that’s your 102 levels, luckily the if you fail the level you can just start again pretty quickly. The basic premiss is to set off some kind of explosion which must catch a bug which then explodes hopefully causing a chain reaction with the other bugs on the screen, later levels going up to 60 which is a bit of an exaggeration because I’ve cleared the screen at 57 58 but it let me through anyway. While on the subject of clearing the screen the achievements system the program tries hard to generate seem a little off as in the course of completing this game I achieved 2 1000 bugs popped awards and a handful of screen cleared awards, repeated awards just seem to defeat the point of the award system.
What really lets this game down is the interface, before you even start playing the game you have to make a profile, while sounds fine, could be a lot simpler than requiring 3 taps. Once the profile is created you then must read the instructions, 6 screens that you tap through, which I find overkill for a simple game that could be explained before you start each level. It also uses a rather long fade in/out sequence throughout the game which I find just makes you wait for no good reason, I’d hate to think it’s because the game is loading as I’ve seen more complex games load in about the same time. The settings, incase you missed it like I did, are in the device settings letting you turn off the incredible cute single song soundtrack but thankfully lets you play your own music via iPod running in the background and toggle the vibration on/off too, but really these settings should be in game rather than adding yet another entry to your settings menu for the sake of two toggles.
However, all that aside this is a fun and challenging flash style game suited to a younger player and those that’ll play anything

Mobile Caddy is a very handy application to keep track of the contents of your golf bag, club specs and how well you have been performing with those clubs

Mobile Caddy is an interactive tool designed exclusively for the iPhone to improve your game and enhance your golfing experience. This simple to use tool automatically calculates your yardage via GPS and provides club recommendations based on the history of your shots.
Mobile Caddy is very useful for Golf players who own an iPhone , sorry iPod Touch owners, your out of luck here as this application makes use of GPS to measure how far you are hitting the balls. After selecting the club you are using from the customisable list of golf clubs and pressing start the application finds your location and off you go to find your ball wherever you may have hit it. On finding your ball you press end and it will show how far you have hit the ball then offers you the option to assign it to the club you were using. As you build up your personal stats the Caddy option then becomes more viable, letting you input the required distance you want to hit the ball with the app returning club recommendations based on either your personal stats or national averages.
While the application is pretty much functional, I say pretty much because I find the buttons randomly unresponsive, but I would like to see an interface makeover as at the moment it is not the best. Yes I like pretty and I would like the software I use on my iPhone to reflect the investment I’ve made in the device.
Feature Request
I would like to see a customisable course list so you can group your stats by what course you have been playing and stat history to be able to see your performance over time. Perhaps with the incoming 3.0 SDK/Firmware could allow for an external GPS support for Touch users maybe?

Is it worth the money? For a non Golf player I’m leaning towards yes from the awkward middle ground as I can see this being a genuine game enhancing tool but would most certainly say yes if it had personal course and history stats suggested above.

After some initial setup which is required to make full use of the application, the app allows you to submit your score predictions for up coming games to the community built around the app which bids itself as a publicly informed alternative to Sportsbook Line
The application is best suited for the iPhone (or you lucky iPod Touch users with city wide Wi-Fi networks) as it constantly searches for updates, however, it does cache previously loaded data making it at least somewhat useful to those without ever present internet connections.
The app covers score data for last season and is updated for the current season. The final score and prediction data will surely serve as an interesting topic of conversation for all college basketball fans

Knockem’s gameplay and story-line is pretty simple. Alien creatures are trying to infest the micro-landscape of your space lab and your objective is to stop them from destroying your ship.
Once in the game the only weapon you get to destroy the nasty but cute alien creatures is a Space Ball which can be used by flicking it towards the aliens to drain their energy before they escape the red wrap zone, as you play longer Aliens try to infest faster. To get a high score you have to try and achieve a combo by hitting more creatures in one throw.

iSperm is an insanely fun experience playing as a sperm racing against other sperms to hit the egg first!

iSperm takes complete advantage of iPhone’s touch screen and accelerometer to create a gaming experience which has never been so much fun.
