Apple’s iPad 2 has proved to be a huge success for the Cupertino, Calif. based company and has a promising future as analysts are predicting 30 Million units to be sold by the end of 2011. The demand for the second gen tablet continues to rise as Apple is trying its best to ship as many tablets as they can. In a recent exposé by ModMyi, it has been revealed that Toys R Us is preparing its staff to offer support to potential customers who want to buy the iPad 2 from their stores.
Apple had been struggling to meet the demand for iPad 2 as the estimated shipping time went up-to 4-6 weeks recently, however, now its back to the usual 2-3 weeks time period. When the tablet went on sale in early March it was available at Apple’s retail stores, online store, Walmart, Best Buy and Target.
During the iPad 2 launch event Steve Jobs said that it will be first dual-core tablet to ship in volume and it seems that Apple plans to aggressively sell their latest iOS device by making it available at even more retail stores across U.S.
Toys R Us branded product sheet which was revealed earlier today, if true, points to conclusive evidence that iPad 2 will certainly be available at the leading retail store for kids. In addition to the tablet, the store will also sell accessories like the Smart Cover, iPad camera connection kit and VGA connector.
This is great news for anyone who is planning to buy the iPad 2 soon as it gives them more options to choose the nearest retail store to make their purchase.
