As ever, you’ll be collecting a ton of heroes and angels, customising them to match your playstyle, then sending them out to defeat the forces of evil.
There’s a bunch of PvE and PvP modes, like cross-server arena battles, co-op team dungeons, and a variety of mini games.
You can level up and train your heroes and angels to suit any playstyle and further develop them by enhancing their weapons.
You’ll then select your favourite team and choose the right formation for the occasion. Each enemy requires a different tactic so its important to change your approach depending on the battle ahead.
As an MMORPG, League of Angels – Fire Raiders is played with and against thousands of others. The handy live chat lets you speak to fellow players to organise a PvP match or make new friends.
To celebrate the launch of League of Angels – Fire Raiders, GTArcade is hosting in-game events and giveaways. Simply head on over to the official web page for more information or ‘Like’ them on Facebook to have the information brought to you.

However, every now and again one splash screen will appear which fills your heart with hope that you are about to embark on gaming greatness.
In my case that splash screen is the one that displays the fact that the game is built using the Unreal Engine. A platform which has introduced us to some of the most rich and rewarding gaming experiences across all major devices has another hit to its armory in Horn.
If you’ve experienced the Unreal world before you know what to expect. Horn for iPhone and iPad is played in a expansive, rich and detailed environment that fools you into believing that you’re not on a handheld device but on a console instead.
This beautiful environment is the backdrop of the story of Horn, a young boy who finds himself in a world where all but a few humans have been turned into giant rock creatures called Golems. Horns task is to return these creatures back into humans.
Unlike some other titles where the environments are so rich that your character has limited interaction with them with Horn you are able to go where you wish, within reason of course, by simply tapping on the screen. This makes movement very easy although not always 100% accurately.
Combat makes up a large part of the game as you attempt to take down the many monstrous creatures. The combat system is similar to the Infinity Blade titles where timing is the key to avoid your enemies attacks and take advantage of their weaknesses. It works impressively well and I took great satisfaction in defeating each on the monstrosities that I came across.
Horn is not just another hack ‘n’ slash game though. For as many battles that you’ll encounter there are as many puzzles to be solved and this balance keeps things interesting and entertaining as you uncover the secrets of the world that you have found yourself in.
Even more depth is added to the game thanks to the various weapons and magic that you get to work with and upgrade as you progress through the game.
The game’s beauty is enhanced by the wonderful voice acting that accompany the story telling parts of the game and the orchestral score provides a wonderful backdrop to this engrossing game.
Zynga is a game company that some people either love or hate and if you are on the hate side of the argument then Horn could be the that changes your mind. For everyone else, just go out and by this game and be ready to lose yourself in a wonderful world of mystery, combat, puzzles and entertainment.
The only problem I’ve had with the game is the fact that even as a universal application there is no ability to sync your progress between multiple devices which would be nice.

What to know
eBoo – space adventures HD Review: eBoo is a cute, kid-style game where you pilot a flying saucer through courses in the hopes of collecting stars, flipping switches and levers, avoiding obstacles and eventually fighting battles and saving the world.
You are a green, square-ish creature that is recruited into the army to pilot a flying saucer. Your drill instructor helps you out, but also keeps you in your place like all good drill instructors do. You are given many tasks and courses to master, all of which are progressively harder. Eventually you go on battle missions that put those skills to the test.
The controls are easy enough, on the right there’s a “button” to make your craft rise and on the left there are arrows to send it left or right. It can be tricky to control though, it takes more than a steady hand. And additional buttons are added along the way for additional controls, such as magnets to lift things, which seem to require a third hand. A fair amount of motor skill is required for that, which may be beyond young children.
I have to admit that I’m torn about this game. It seems simple enough. It’s easily understandable and the controls are obvious, even for children. But actually controlling your craft and navigating the course are more difficult than the cutesy feel to the game would lead you to believe. It seems aimed at kids, but may prove too difficult for them.
For adults, though, the game will prove to be a light-hearted, yet difficult, challenge. The cartoon style graphics, music, and sound effects are all fun. But the skill and strategy to the game will probably have you cussing not smiling. It’s got plenty there to keep you going. It’s also integrated with GameCenter and Facebook if you’re looking to challenge others.
This is a game that tempts you with its easy-going style, but don’t let it fool you – it’s harder than it looks.
