Apple will begin taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 4 on June 15. It will be officially available in the US Apple Stores on June 24 and this year you can either line up at an Apple Store or visit Wal-Mart:
Wal-Mart said Friday that it will be one of several retail outlets that will have the iPhone 4 on June 24, its first day of availability anywhere. While Wal-Mart has carried previous versions of the iPhone, this is a first that it will be for sale in its stores on the device’s official launch day.
CNET in a report said that Wal-Mart won’t be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone and according to MacRumors RadioShack will also be carrying the new iPhone on its launch day and will be taking pre-orders too.
Unlike previous iPhone launches this year Apple seems to have worked towards offering alternatives for buying the new iPhone 4 as they could be anticipating huge demand.
