If you have already ordered yours however, then have no fear, it will arrive on the 28th of May as promised.

When Apple spoke to UK tech-blog Pocket Lint about this they said that “Demand for [the] iPad has been off the charts. We are working hard to get iPads into customers hands as quickly as possible”

The shortage of iPads is not just affecting International Orders either. Delivery times in the US are currently slated at 7-10 business days. Apparently iPads are out of stock in some Apple stores in the US too, with the company’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York turning people away empty handed.

The iPad shortage doesn’t seem to be something that will go away soon. So if you want one, order now, and get in line is our advice.
