Yes, all odds are against us, yet we have reassuring information.

We want to tip the balance and we believe that the new iPad will debut in the hands of Steve Jobs

It’s interesting to note that even All Things Digital reported that Jobs is certainly considering to attend the special media event.

According to several sources close to the situation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs – who is on a health-related leave from the company – is definitely considering an appearance at its big iPad 2 event tomorrow.

But the possibility – which would be a big sensation at the San Francisco gathering – is also just as definitely not confirmed as yet, stressed sources.

If he did appear, sources said Jobs would at least make a brief appearance onstage, along with other top company execs in showing off Apple’s latest version of it hugely popular tablet.

Jobs has been on a medical leave for an undisclosed duration and while he did make a public appearance for the dinner hosted by President Obama but its hard to believe that Apple CEO will make a brief appearance for todays event.

Second gen iPad event will go live at 10:00 AM (Pacific) and Apple is widely expected to update the hardware with thinner and lighter design. Apple’s second gen tablet is also rumored to feature a faster dual-core processor, more RAM and support two cameras.

Apple plans to offer FaceTime on all iOS devices and Macs, so we are confident about cameras being included in the second iPad.
