Pages coming to iPhone 4 or Fourth Gen iPod Touch soon?

If you still think that the iPad 2 is going to feature a Retina display, then you are in the minority these days. Which makes these new Retina display quality icons found in the latest copy of Pages for the iPad all the more interesting…

As 9TO5Mac report, the icons do not have iPad suffixes on the file names. This may simply mean that they are for an internal Retina display iPad that Apple are still testing – we are pretty certain they have them in limited numbers; but not for launch anytime soon. Or it may be that these are icons created in readiness for Pages coming to other iOS devices, like the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

Pages for the iPhone? Can you see yourself using your iPhone to write letters and create documents? Let us know in the comments…
