Mezopuzzle [rating: 4.5/5]
If you are a puzzle game freak like myself, this just released puzzle slider game with a Mayan twist is sure to be a hit. It is not your typical puzzle slider game. This has implausible graphics that are more than pleasing to the eye.
Your goal as a researcher of the ancient Mayan culture is to find the truth about the mysterious drawings on the wall by sliding stone blocks in order to reconstruct ancient pictures. The blocks differ by form and size, permitting the player to move them within the boundaries of the playing field. For each level you will need to complete 10 paintings that slowly recreate three Mayan Legends. There are a total of 30 unique puzzles.
Faced with crumbled bits and pieces, gradually the player unravels some of the mysterious legends passed down from this ancient Mexican culture. This game sets itself apart from other sliding puzzle games through the implementation of incredible graphics, a mysterious story line, blocks that can be moved in any direction and optimized game play by allowing only a few blocks to move at a time. There are three different levels including The Wood Pigeon (easiest), Maya’s Sadness (medium) and The Man Who Sold His Soul (hardest).
This game is based on real facts of this mysterious culture. The developers made sure to study and embrace the amazing folklore and art. Combining Indian manifestation with the effect of moldy stones draws the player deeper into the game. Every step will bring you closer to solving some of the strange beliefs that led to the mystical disappearance of the Mayans. An amazing and refreshing addition to the app store.
