iPhone OS 4 features native flashlight support?

 In Mobile Technology

Today a YouTube user posted a video which shows that iPhone OS 4 could possibly feature native flashlight support. It is still not confirmed if this is a feature or a bug in the fourth beta of upcoming iPhone OS.

You can activate the flashlight in iPhone OS 4 by tapping the sleep/wake button thrice. If this turns out to be a new feature then all the flashlight apps you bought from the App Store would become useless.

Is this a feature or a bug? Let us know in the comments.

Apple has been recently rejecting and removing apps from the App Store. Recently MyFrame was removed because it acts like a 'Desktop'

So if iPhone OS 4 supports flashlight via the sleep/wake shortcut then those free flashlight apps 'could' be removed. Thought it is still not clear if this is a bug or a new feature.

    we brought flashlight apps?

If a free app didn't do that job then it wouldn't have been accepted by the app store
