iOS 5 To Be Previewed During iPad 2 Event On March 2nd?

Apple is holding a special keynote event on March 2nd and is expected to announce the next gen iPad 2. The new tablet computer from AAPL is widely rumored to feature faster processor called A5, two cameras, thinner and lighter design. Second generation iPad is also expected to boast 512MB RAM which is much more than current gen iPad which supports only 256MB of RAM.

Engadget, in one of their recent posts, claimed that along-with the introduction of second gen iPad Apple could also give us a sneak preview of iOS 5. We’ve already published a list of features we want to see in the next iOS update and believe that if the second gen tablet has only minor hardware upgrades then Apple could ‘wow’ us with the fifth version of iOS.

iOS has been often criticized for the lack of good notification system and if rumors about Apple recently buying an iOS app developing company are to be believed then iOS 5.0 will certainly feature improved notifications.

Apple is also expected to revamp MobileMe service and offer users the ability to upload their entire collection of digital media in iTunes to the cloud and then stream the content wirelessly.
