iOS 4 Update for iPhone and iPod touch Now Available for Download

The wait is finally over, iOS 4 for iPhone and iPod touch is now live and available for free download from Apple servers. If your device is connected to iTunes on you PC or Mac when you click the “Check for Update” option it will prompt you to download iOS 4.

iOS 4 Software Update Features List

iOS 4 update contains over 100 new features, including the following:

• Multitasking support for third-party apps*
– Multitasking user interface to quickly move between
apps
– Support for audio apps to play in the background
– VoIP apps can receive and maintain calls in the
background or when device is asleep
