Chrominance is a new game where color combinations is the name of the game. Across a variety of levels you are tasked with combining a range of colored discs to the same color as the background by flicking them together across the iPhones screen.
A short training session takes you through the basics including controls, combinations and power ups but it’s all pretty straight forward stuff.
There are two modes to play, Classic and Time Trial. Classic will see you attempting to get the highest number of correct matches while Time Trial gives you an initial 160 seconds to complete as many combo’s as possible add additional time for each correct match. Time Trial was my preferred mode as trying to prevent the clock from reaching zero added more excitement to the game play.
They game is certainly very colorful and the range of tunes that play in the background is infectious too. However, due to the importance of color in this game it’s probably not going to be for those of you who are affected by the affliction.
Chrominance is a fun game with OpenFeint and Game Center enabled which adds both global leader boards and achievements to the mix for added enjoyment.
