AT&T preparing for iPhone 4G / HD launch installs new “large display”?

Last month we reported that AT&T had blocked staff holiday for the month of June to prepare for Apple’s new iPhone 4G / HD launch.

Today BGR reported that according their “source” AT&T is installing “large display” at their corporate stores in order to prepare for the iPhone 4G / HD launch.

We’re told that this is most likely a new iPhone display as there isn’t anything else that’s dedicated to a single device that would require the resources this display will.

Apple’s next gen iPhone is rumored to be unveiled during WWDC 2010 which will kick off on June 07 with Steve Jobs keynote presentation.

Will Steve Jobs introduce Verizon iPhone 4G? What are these large displays for? Let us know your thoughts.
