iPhone 5 / 4S rumors have reached a new high this week as various sources have been reporting that Apple is all set to introduce fifth gen iPhone. Bloomberg on Wednesday published a new report which reaffirms that Apple is looking at a September launch event and further notes that a high resolution iPad 3 is in the works.
We recently reported that according to BGR’s sources iPhone 5 is expected to sport a new case design and feature 8MP camera. Now, Bloomberg is citing people familiar with Apple’s plan and notes that next gen iPhone will run on dual core A5 chip.

The rumor mill seems to be split in two views. Some believe that Apple’s next phone will be called iPhone 4S that will not be very different in design when compared with current gen iPhone. On the other hand some believe that it will be called iPhone 5 and sport an all-new design.
It’s interesting to note that Bloomberg has gone ahead and confirmed earlier rumors which suggested that the Cupertino based company in working on high resolution display for iPad 3. The second gen tablet supports the same resolution as first gen iPad however, a few images found in iOS 5 SDK beta 1 indicate retina display in next gen tablet.
