Apple’s TV ad for “The New iPad” – This Good

Third Gen New iPad

As Apple does with all of their newly launched products, they released the first TV ad for “The new iPad”, solely focusing on the new Retina Display. Eventually, as time progresses, Apple may highlight other new features of the New iPad, including the A5X chip, and even the 5MP rear-facing iSight camera.

As with all of Apple’s ads, they did not mention specifications or pricing, instead focusing on the simplicity of the device and its features. The ad shows how the device can be used to edit a photograph, read a book, watch a movie, and draw a picture. Then the following words are said, describing the New iPad:

When a screen becomes this good, colors are more vibrant. Words are pin sharp. Everything is more brilliant. Because when a screen becomes this good, it’s simply you and the things you care about. The stunning Retina Display on the new iPad.

With the new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, iSight camera and the incredible new high resolution retina display the third-gen iPad has raised the bar for other tablet manufactures. It will be interesting to see how Motorola and Samsung catch up with Apple with their tablet releases in 2012.
