Apple released iOS 6 to the public on September 19th and since then has not released an update to the popular mobile software, currently operating on the full sized iPad, new iPad mini, iPhone, and iPod Touch. On Thursday, Apple seeded iOS 6.1 beta to developers with a number of new features, including features allowing developers to integrate iOS Maps into their applications, as well as fixes for boarding passes in Passbook as well as changes in Safari.

The update also carries a number of bug fixes across the lineup of iOS devices, including one in Maps, where there is now a large button allowing for users to report problems to Apple. The iOS 6.1 beta has a build number of 10B5095f, and is available for developers to download on the Apple Developers Page.

It is unclear when Apple will release iOS 6.1 to the public or what other new features and bug fixes will be included in the update, but Apple will likely roundup a number of other bug fixes and test them on developers before releasing to the public.
