A new iPad 2 commercial recently launched by Apple entitled ‘We Believe’ focuses on the user experience of the device rather than its technical specifications, which is what makes the device such a success and gives Apple’s tablet a huge advantage over its rivals.
When technology gets out of the way, everything becomes more delightful – even magical. That’s when you leap forward. That’s when you end up with something like this.
The latest iPad 2 commercial is a little different to other Apple commercials in recent years. As opposed to upbeat music and short, simple catchphrases, this one’s a little more sophisticated – a little more serious. Rather than market the technology behind the device and what it can do, it focuses on what you can do with the device. It’s far more personal that other Apple ads.
But what more would you expect from a company whose CEO has a huge passion for making its products personal?
It’s an approach that certainly seems to be working for Apple. Sales figures for the device so far – and those predicted for the future – show that the iPad 2 is by far the most popular tablet in the current market –comfortably outselling its competitors.
