9TO5Mac is reporting that iPad customers in the US are getting their notification of preparation to ship, and confirmation of shipping from Apple.

So it is looking as if Apple has kept its promise to US customers at least, and that those that pre-ordered will get their iPad 3G on Friday the 30th of April. Anyone else will have to hope that Apple has enough stocks on hand to meet their promised iPad 3G in store date of May the 7th.

And International customers will again have to keep their fingers crossed that US demand doesn’t push their hopes of getting an iPad back yet again or you can head over to eBay as they are selling it everywhere in the world
