Apple Retailers Preparing for Black Friday Sales

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, and the holiday season in full effect, Apple’s Authorized Retailers are already prepping and advertising their Black Friday sales. Black Friday is on November 25th, one day after Thanksgiving, and marks the start of the holiday shopping season.

Retailers across America hold sales ranging anywhere from 20% to 40% off on items on Black Friday. Authorized retailers have begun posting their updated prices as well as other major brands selling Apple products such as Best Buy. Best Buy’s list of products discounts for Black Friday is as follows:

– $45 off an iPad 2
– $150 off $1199 MacBook Pro
– $150 off $1199 iMac
– $10 off $99 Apple TV
– $100 iTunes Card for $80

Apple has not yet posted their discounted prices but participates in the Black Friday discounts every year. Last year, Apple deducted $101 on all of their iMac, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air lines, with $11-$41 discounts on the iPods and iPads.

Apple will likely post the updated prices tomorrow or the day of Thanksgiving. Black Friday is an excellent time to buy electronics such as Apple products, especially when the company and other retailers are offering steep discounts.

Are you going to take advantage of these sales? Are you buying any Christmas presents from Apple this year?
